Musing and pictures

What can I say, I love Glastonbury and  2013 was my 11th festival and the 20th anniversary of my first one. Some say its too big and commercial, but it seems to me that its got the same heart as it had when I first attended in 1993, and that it is much less commercial than many of the other festivals and long may it stay that way.

I'll never be able to recapture the heady '90s days, and I'll always think on them when I'm there.  I'm always kind of looking for the people I shared those early days with (well, some of them!) and hope one day I'll get a crowd down there again, but either way, I'll keep going whenever I can, its too good to miss.

Highpoints : Tame Impala followed by Alt J on Friday, The Crows Nest, all day Saturday, mostly sunny

Lowpoints: Missing - Public Enemy, Nile Rodgers, and not spending anywhere near enough time in The Gully, Thursday Mudfest, oh, and missing the fireworks on Wednesday because I'm an idiot.
